PRIVATE BETA · INVITE ONLY

Everything a group chat needs,
nothing it doesn't.

Nomia is a small, closed communications app for a group of people who already trust each other. Text channels, voice rooms, video calls, screen share and listening to music together — end‑to‑end, off by default to anyone you didn't invite.

Codes are issued by existing members. No public sign‑up.

What's inside

Text, voice and video in one place

No bots, no public servers, no discovery. Every room exists because someone with an invite made it.

Text channels

Organize conversation into channels and threads instead of one long scroll. Search, pin and react like you'd expect.

Voice channels

Persistent voice rooms that stay open as long as people are in them — drop in, drop out, no call to "answer."

Video calls

Adaptive video that scales itself down on a bad connection instead of dropping the call.

Screen share

Share a window or a full screen mid‑call. No recording, no server‑side copy kept anywhere.

Listen together

Queue a track in a channel and everyone hears the same beat at the same time, synced automatically.

File transfer

Drop files of any size straight into a room. Transfers go directly between members where possible.

End‑to‑end by default

Messages, calls and files are encrypted before they leave your device. We can't read them, so we can't show them to anyone either.

Invite‑only rooms

Every room is capped and private. No directory, no search, no public servers to stumble into.

Listen together

Press play for the whole room, not just yourself

Queue a track and it plays in sync for everyone in the channel — same position, same beat, no counting down "3, 2, 1" over voice chat.

  • Anyone in the room can queue the next track
  • Playback stays in sync even if someone's connection drops and reconnects
  • Works alongside voice — talk over it or just sit and listen
  • Nothing is stored after the session ends
How it works

Getting in

01

Get invited

An existing member sends you a single‑use code. There's no other way in — we don't run open registration.

02

Set up your device

Your keys are generated locally the first time you sign in and never leave your device.

03

Join a room

Rooms are shared by link, not listed anywhere. You're only ever in the rooms you were personally added to.

Don't have a code?

We hand out a handful of invites every so often to people already on the list.
